In 2005, a Ukrainian police officer, Serhiy Tkach, was
finally arrested for the rape and murder of as many as 100 your women over a
span of 21 years. Because of his knowledge of police investigations, he'd
managed to cover his tracks and pin his crimes on others. Nine different men
were arrested for his murders and went to prison, one committed suicide, and
another was just released in 2012.
While Tkach asked for the death penalty, but was sentenced to
life in prison, where he is now.
But for how long?
We can only hope!
