Not a serial killer I had heard of. It takes a long time to catch some of them, doesn't it.

Yes, way to long and way to many victims!
DeleteTen years is a long time to escape justice. I suppose much less than eight life sentences.
ReplyDeleteDominique is such a lovely, delicate name, feels really awful to think of it being a murderer's.
It is, Nila, and maybe he used that to lure his victims too!
DeleteI always thought Dominique was a female name - you do find 'em!
ReplyDeleteMany names are interchangeable, even my own. :)
DeleteOoo, I love your blog! I think because I was brought up in a very decent, close and loving family, I am drawn to the dark side. Serial killers are fascinating and I have read many books about them. It's interesting to see how and why they turned out as they did. Around My Kitchen Table
ReplyDeleteI think sometimes the least threatening are, but then maybe I think that because I am - one the the least threatening that is. LOL
DeleteI thought it was Dominic and Dominique, male and female. I had never heard of this killer either. You do find them Yolanda.
ReplyDeleteHi, Jo, all I do is google. LOL
DeleteWow. What a deranged guy. I can't believe he ran for president in 1992! :)
ReplyDeleteBriefly ran as an Independent but dropped out very shortly! TG!
DeleteI'm familar with this case. I prosecuted violent crimes in Louisiana for a long time and have put many men in Angola and on death row. No, I did not prosecute this case. This man is one who deserved the death penalty, if you are a proponent of the death penalty. He pled guilty to avoid the death penalty. Lousianana hasn't had many serial killers, but he was one who killed in south Louisiana. If it's any consolation life at Angola is probably worse than death.
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing. So glad he's locked up though, but so interesting, his short independent run for office. Must have had charisma going for him to even get in the field. Sad, because it's what attracted his victims too! Thanks, Melissa!
