The only woman on the list, Irina Viktorovna Gaidamachuk is a Russian serial killer known as Satan
in a skirt. She killed 17 elderly women between 2002 & 2010.
An alcoholic since a young age, she posed as a social worker, and killed elderly women with a hammer to get money for Vodka. The killings were so cruel, they never figured a woman as the killer until one of the victims survived.

In 2012 she
was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Does anyone
get the feeling that other countries are a bit liberal with their penalties? I
mean really, 20 years for killing 17 woman?
Satan in a skirt?

ReplyDeleteThank you, akhy, I hope you find the information useful.
DeleteA female serial killer - one of a rare breed. 20 years for such brutal killings?! She sounds like the kind of person that should remain locked up for the good of the people. When a person kills a single individual it is often personal and they are unlikely to do it again - looks to me like she might simply start up again given the chance.

I agree, 20 years is crazy! Hi, Natasha!
DeleteThat is hard to imagine--20 years for 17 murders. And the hammer part is too gruesome to imagine. That sort of killer will always be a danger.

I know a hammer? Gosh. Hi, Kathleen. I read she only made $1000 for all her trouble. What little motivation for such brutal killings!
DeleteThat does seem a bit light...

People who rob others get longer sentences. Not long enough at all. This woman is 'mad'! At least when she's not getting her Vodka.
DeleteONLY 20? EGAD, MAN. *shivers* She gives me the willies. Miss you. Answering your email. XOXOXOXOXO
ReplyDeleteGosh Robyn, I have, what's happening? I hope we figure it out soon. Honest. I've not received anything from you since 3/29...
DeleteWow! I don't know what to think. She is so horrid, but I feel sad for her as well. The addiction had a big part of why she did it, not that I'm excusing it.
ReplyDeleteMany of us have addiction, but to cruelly murder, shes missing the empathy gene for sure! You have to wonder because her husband said he had no clue? Hi, djinnia!
DeleteHow gruesome! Even abbreviated, this story of a murderer who preyed on elderly women to feed her addiction is ugly. Yuck. Your image is beautiful and leads me certainly in a different and much less dark direction! And people tell me they want happy endings. Fascinating in a very dark way.
