S = SUFF

IS FOR WILLIAM SUFF

William Lest Suff, known as the Lake Elsinore Killer, was convicted of 12 murders but is believed to have killed at least 22 woman. Convicted of the shaking death of his baby girl he was sentenced to 70 years but was released after 10.

Considered mild mannered he delivered supplies to the task force investigating his killing spree. He is alleged to have used a woman's body part in a chili contest he entered in Texas. (I'm hoping this isn't fact!)

Suff is sitting on death row at San Quentin State Prison.

  1. I think I may have seen something about Suff on one of the crime channels, but I'm not sure - the thing about the chilli rings a bell. If only they'd kept him locked up the first time.

  2. I cannot imagine why parole boards are conned so easily into releasing such prisoners. You have just put me off chilli!!! Hubby was once served tea in Brixton Jail (he was a prison officer) by a renowned poisoner. The other officers didn't tell him til he had drunk the tea.

  3. I have read about this. Horrible, horrible man. Why he was released after only 10 years is a mystery to me.

  7. How on earth did such a twisted individual get off after only 10 years? Glad he is back, locked up. And the chili. OMG. It isn't going to taste the same after this!
