MURDER WEAPONS



Nilanjana Bose asked me recently what the most commonly used weapons are in a homicide? So I did some research.

Top 10 most common murder weapons

1. Firearms

2. Knives

3. Punches or kicks

 

4. Clubs or baseball bats
5. Asphyxiation from carbon monoxide or sulfur
6. Strangulation
 7. Fire
 
8. Narcotics
9. Drowning


10. Explosives

    Hi Yolanda!

    So pleased you answered my question! But quite surprised at punches/kicks taking a top spot - you got to be super confident of your knuckle power, not sure that it's a very reliable method. :) My weapon of choice definitely knives or poison, cleaner and silent, dislike loud bangs!
