IS FOR LARRY EYLER

Known as "The Interstate Killer," Larry Eyler, killed 23+. Eyler was sentenced to death for killing a fifteen year old. Most all his victims were young men. 

Eyler died in 1994.

  1. Serial Killers, good choice for the A to Z. I had missed you had two blogs in the challenge!

    When serial killers get to this many victims, it makes me wonder how they lived with themselves, not in a conscience kind of way, because a lot of these types of people have no conscience, but practically speaking, because killing people and disposing of bodies is a time consuming process, it must have been all consuming.

    1. From what I've read, they get a thrill from that part of the process too. Some go back to their dump sites just to relive the crime. Too horrid!

  2. Sounds like he didn't like himself very much and was taking it out on everyone else, becoming a monster. You wonder how no one noticed that many people dying.

  4. Sorry I missed you blog the last few days. I remember reading a true crime book about this guy. My ex husband is from Chicago and that's why I read the book. His mom gave it to me. I knew the name was familiar.
