P = POPKOV

IS FOR MIKHAIL POPKOV

A Russian policeman, Mikhail Viktorovich Popkov, also known as 'The Wednesday Murderer' after the day most of the bodies were found is responsible for at least 22 deaths. He'd pick up the slightly intoxicated woman in his police car and uniform and take them to the forest where he raped, axed, stabbed, or strangled them to death. He also dismembered a few of his victims.

He was convicted for 22 murders in 2015 and was sentenced to life in prison. But does life in prison mean life in prison?

Please keep this man incarcerated!

  2. It always seems worse when the murderer is someone in a position of trust. Ugh - I do hope they keep him locked up.

    Also, Yolanda, thank you for the lovely review you posted for EACH ANGEL BURNS. That was so thoughtful of you! By the way, I have a Yolanda in one of my stories. She was my Y character last year: http://www.kathleenvalentineblog.com/2014/04/y-is-for-yolanda-blogging-atozchallenge.html

  6. Unfortunately life doesn't mean life any more Yolanda, you are right. He only has to convince a parole board that he is a changed, reformed man, and bang, he's on the streets again. Somebody might even be daft enough to make him a cop again.
